IMPORTANT NOTICE: Troublemaker Barber and Ale Social Club (“Troublemaker Barbers”) is not a medical provider, therapist, or licensed health professional. We do not provide medical advice, dermatological advice, or treatment recommendations. The services we provide are barbering and grooming services (such as haircuts, fades, beard trims, shaves, and related grooming experiences). If you have a medical concern (including skin conditions, infections, allergies, or other health-related issues), you should seek advice from a licensed medical professional. Use of our services and website is governed by these Terms & Conditions of Use, our Privacy Policy, and any notices posted on our Site or in our shop.

By using the Troublemaker Barbers website https://www.troublemakerbarbers.com (the “Site”) or any Troublemaker Barbers online booking tools, contact forms, messaging features, or other digital tools that link to these Terms (collectively, “Online Tools”), you agree to follow and be bound by these Terms & Conditions of Use (the “Terms”) and to comply with all applicable laws and regulations. In these Terms, “you” and “your” refer to each visitor, customer, or user of the Site or Online Tools; “Troublemaker Barbers,” “we,” “us,” and “our” refer to Troublemaker Barber and Ale Social Club; and “Services” refers to all grooming and related services we provide.

It is your responsibility to review these Terms periodically. We reserve the right to update or change these Terms without advance notice. If at any time you find these Terms unacceptable or you do not agree to them, please do not use this Site or Online Tools.

YOU AGREE THAT BY USING THE SITE, ANY ONLINE TOOLS, AND/OR BOOKING OR RECEIVING SERVICES, YOU ARE AT LEAST 18 YEARS OF AGE OR USING THE SITE WITH CONSENT AND SUPERVISION OF A PARENT OR LEGAL GUARDIAN, AND YOU ARE LEGALLY ABLE TO ENTER INTO A CONTRACT.

Some disputes may be subject to arbitration and may limit your ability to bring claims in court or participate in class actions, as described below.

These Terms incorporate by reference our Privacy Policy and any notices posted on the Site.

Troublemaker Barbers provides the Site to help visitors learn about our shop, services, pricing, policies, and booking availability. The Site may include general informational content. Any information on the Site is provided for general informational purposes only and is not professional medical advice.

If you book an appointment, submit a form, or use certain Site features, you may be asked to provide complete and accurate information. If you create or use an account through a third-party booking platform, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of any credentials associated with that account and for all activity that occurs under it.

2. Services, Scheduling, and Shop Policies

Services

Our Services may include haircuts, fades, beard trims, shaves, and other grooming services as described on the Site or in-shop.

Appointments and Walk-Ins

Availability may vary. Appointments may be scheduled through our booking tools or by contacting us directly. Walk-ins may be accepted depending on staffing and capacity.

Late Arrivals and No-Shows

We may enforce late-arrival and no-show policies to keep schedules running on time. If you arrive late, your service may be shortened, rescheduled, or treated as a no-show depending on availability.

Pricing

Prices may change without notice. The price communicated at booking or in-shop at the time of service will control.

Client Safety and Hygiene

For health and safety, we may decline or modify services in our reasonable discretion, including where a condition appears contagious, where skin is visibly irritated or infected, or where providing a service could pose a safety risk. In such situations, we may recommend rescheduling or seeking medical guidance.

3. Alcohol Service Notice

Troublemaker Barbers may offer beverages as part of the shop experience where lawful and permitted. Alcohol service, if available, is limited to individuals of legal drinking age and is subject to applicable laws and house policies. We reserve the right to refuse alcohol service to anyone, including for safety reasons. Alcohol availability is not guaranteed and may vary by event, time, or policy.

4. Ownership and Intellectual Property

The Site and its content, including text, graphics, logos, photographs, images, audio, video, design, and layout (the “Materials”), are owned by Troublemaker Barbers or our licensors and are protected by intellectual property laws. Any rights not expressly granted are reserved.

5. Limited Permission to Use Site Materials

We grant you a limited, personal, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable license to access and use the Site for your personal, non-commercial use. You may not copy, reproduce, republish, upload, post, transmit, distribute, modify, or create derivative works from the Materials except as expressly permitted in writing by Troublemaker Barbers.

If you submit photos, videos, testimonials, or other content to us (including via social media direct messages), you grant Troublemaker Barbers a worldwide, royalty-free, non-exclusive license to use, reproduce, publish, display, and distribute that content for business and marketing purposes, unless you explicitly revoke permission in writing and the content can reasonably be removed from future use.

7. Third-Party Links and Services

The Site may contain links to third-party websites or services (including booking platforms, maps, and social media). We do not control and are not responsible for third-party content, policies, or practices. Your use of third-party services is at your own risk and subject to those third parties’ terms and privacy policies.

8. Prohibited Uses

TO THE FULLEST EXTENT PERMITTED BY LAW, OUR TOTAL LIABILITY FOR ANY CLAIM ARISING OUT OF OR RELATING TO THE SITE, ONLINE TOOLS, OR SERVICES WILL NOT EXCEED THE AMOUNT YOU PAID TO US FOR THE SPECIFIC SERVICE GIVING RISE TO THE CLAIM.

Some jurisdictions do not allow certain limitations of liability, so some of the above may not apply to you.

11. Indemnification

You agree to defend, indemnify, and hold harmless Troublemaker Barbers and our owners, employees, contractors, and agents from and against claims, liabilities, damages, losses, and expenses (including reasonable attorneys’ fees) arising out of or related to your use of the Site, violation of these Terms, or infringement of any rights of another.

Informal Resolution First

Most concerns can be resolved quickly by contacting us. Before initiating a formal dispute, you agree to contact us and attempt to resolve the issue informally.

Arbitration Agreement

To the fullest extent permitted by law, you and Troublemaker Barbers agree that disputes arising out of or relating to these Terms, the Site, Online Tools, or Services may be resolved by binding arbitration on an individual basis rather than in court, except that either party may bring an eligible claim in small claims court.

Class actions and class arbitrations are not permitted where prohibited by applicable law.

The arbitration provider, rules, fees, and location will be determined based on your state of residence and applicable law, unless otherwise required.

Nothing in this section prevents you from bringing issues to the attention of federal, state, or local agencies.

13. Governing Law

These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Oregon, without regard to conflict of laws principles, except to the extent federal law applies.

We may update these Terms from time to time. The “Updated” date at the top will reflect the most recent revision. Continued use of the Site after changes become effective constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
